Three of the episodes are written and directed byChris Carter, with the remaining new episodes written and directed by original series veterans Glen Morgan, Darin Morgan andJames Wong. StarDavid Duchovnyhas revealed in the past that he would be open to returning for more X-Files episodes, provided it’s a shorter season like this six-episode run, and not a full 20-episode season. We’ll have to wait and see how the fans respond to this new incarnation of X-Files, to see if Fox will order even more episodes.
