WithComic-Constarting up this week, fans will get a better look at Starz’s new seriesAsh Vs. Evil Dead, with a panel presentation on Friday, July 10 at 6 PM in Room 6A. To get fans ready for this epic event,Entertainment Weeklyhas debuted two new photos fromAsh vs. Evil Dead, which confirm that another element from the original 1981 classicThe Evil Deadis back: Ash’s (Bruce Campbell) beloved car, the 1973 Delta 88 known simply as “The Classic”. Here’s whatBruce Campbellhimself had to say about this beloved car.

“Sam’s original Delta is back. I’m talking the ‘73 Delta 88. The Classic is back! I’ve driven it. I did aWilliam Shatnerpower-slide in that car. That’s the only spoiler I’m gonna give you: that Ash and that car - we can power-slide. I metWilliam Shatneron the convention circuit, and I talked about T.J. Hooker. He talked to me about how he power-slides those cars in T.J. Hooker. So I took Shatner’s advice, and I used that advice to do a T.J. Hooker combo-platter - with the Classic - power-slide.”

TheseAsh vs. Evil Deadimages also give us a new look at Ash’s sidekick Pablo (Ray Santiago), who is seen covered in blood alongside his new partner as they ride along in The Classic. And we get yet another look atBruce Campbell’s iconic chainsaw hand. We saw theNecronomiconbook in new photos last week, with Ash set to unleash an evil curse upon the world when he accidentally reads from this deadly tomb once again. When asked about the level of violence fans can expect, the actor promises a lot of classic gore andAshone-liners.

“There’s going to be a lot of the classic, over-the-top, in-your-face fullness, with a pretty trash-talking Ash. In a TV series, people gotta talk, so Ash will have more dialogue than he’s pretty much ever had. There’s a pretty high count of Ash’s classic one-liners. They’re back, and they’re strong, and they’re flourishing!”
