While it isn’t known when the next trailer forBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justicewill debut, new photos have arrived, giving fans the superhero fix they so desperately need. Today,Total Filmrevealed four new photos from this highly-anticipated adventure, while starHenry Cavillused his first everInstagrampost to reveal the cover of Total Film’s December issue. The cover and photos feature the superhero trinity of Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot). Here’s whatHenry Cavillhad to say in his Instagram message.
“So I’ve finally taken the leap into social media! And here’s a little treat for you all in the form of a sneak peak of theBatman v Supermancover shot from Total Film magazine, before the issue comes out on Friday.”
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justicewill mark a historic milestone in cinematic history, since it is the first live-action movie to feature both of the iconic heroesBatmanandSupermanon the big screen. DirectorZack Snyderconfirmed at Comic Con that, in this movie, both Metropolis and Gotham are “twin cities” that are separated by a bay, and that one of the buildings destroyed in 2013’sMan of Steelwas actually Wayne Tower, which starts the conflict between these two heroes. The director toldTotal Filmthat fans will be sympathetic to both Batman and Superman when this action-packed adventure hits theaters.
“You kind of have to understand both of their point of views. I think you’re sympathetic to both, in a weird way. It’s inevitable, like two trains heading at each other on the same track.”
