Earlier this week, the full-length third trailer forBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justicedebuted onJimmy Kimmel Live!, surprising fans with its big Doomsday reveal. Today, starBen Affleckappeared onGood Morning Americato introduce a slightly altered take on this latest sneak peek. It is shorter. But it does deliver a few select moments of new footage. This is whatBen Affleckhad to say.
“Good Morning, America! I’m so excited to introduce this film to the world on March 25th. These two giants and icons of the comic book world are together on screen for the first time. There’s a special clip we’ve made just for Good Morning America. I can’t wait for you to see it. I think you are going to love the movie. I’m really proud of it. I hope you like it.”
While you’ll notice that most of this trailer is the same that arrived earlier this week, we do get some alternate new footage ofJesse Eisenbergas the villain Lex Luthor. The very first moments, whereHenry Cavill’s Clark Kent seesBen Affleck’s Bruce Wayne arriving in his car has been cut. Instead, the footage cuts directly to the two future foes shaking hands. From there, we get a version of the trailer that has all the fat cut off, with a slimed down action packed sneak peek that gets right to Wonder Woman and Doomsday.
