Today, we have a set of exclusive photos from the exciting new dramaBlood Stripe. The movie is making it’s World Premiere at the Los Angeles Film Festival today, Thursday, June 2nd. Though the screening has already sold out, you can get a first look here! And we’ve been told that a second screening has been added by popular demand on June 7th.
Blood Stripeis filmmakerRemy Auberjonois’directorial debut. His father, award winning TV actorRené Auberjonois(Boston Legal, The Practice, Benson) stars in the film alongside lead actressKate Nowlin(WGN’s Outsiders, Young Adult) in what is being called atour de forceperformance. The film shines a spotlight onPTSDin a way we rarely see. It is told from the perspective of a female combat veteran (Nowlin).
Blood Stripevividly illustrates that the fight comes home with the soldier, regardless of gender. And we get to see some of the dramatic weight of that in our exclusive images courtesy of Tandem Pictures. LAFF programmer Drea Clark had this to say about the movie in an official statement.
