Bob Sagetshines in his final acting role with the late comedian appearing in a new rap video over a month after his passing last month. On Jan. 9, Saget was found dead in his hotel room after performing stand-up comedy for his fans the night before. It was later determined that Saget died of head trauma, believed by authorities to be from an accidental fall backward in his hotel room, resulting in skull fractures and a brain bleed.
Because Saget was such an active comedian, there was no telling where he was going to turn up next. That’s made ever more true with the reveal of his final acting role. The rapper Desiigner’s new music video for the song “Bakin” featuring Slushii and DJ Whoo Kid includes a special appearance from Saget. He plays Desiigner’s personal chef who comes into the rapper’s home to fry up some bacon and vibe to the music alongside adult film actress Kendra Sunderland. You can watch the video below.

The “Bakin” video was shot in December just weeks before Saget’s untimely death at the age of 65. Desiigner includes a title card paying tribute to Saget at the end of the video followed by showing some footage of the lateFull Housestar on the set. It’s clear in the footage that Saget is having a wonderful time with everyone while filming the video, at one point praising the Bakin/bacon pun as the “best dad joke ever.”
PerRolling Stone, DJ Whoo Kid also said people didn’t really believe Saget would play the chef in the music video until the comedian physically arrived ready to get started. He also said how typically rappers pull up in their nice cars and Saget conversely pulled up parking his Lexus on the lawn and “looking like a dad.” Comedian Jay Pharaoh, who appears in the music video, also says, “It' so funny because this video is a testament to what Bob Saget was on stage.”

As amusing as it is to see Bob Saget appear in Desiigner’s video for “Bakin,” it’s not the first time he’s been featured in a rap video. Back in 2006, Jamie Kennedy and Stu Stone hired Saget to appear in a music video for a rap song they created for their MTV seriesBlowin' Up. The song, called"Rollin' with Saget,“depicted theFull Housestar as a sleazier version of himself, breaking up club fights and rolling blunts in the back seat. Referring to Danny Tanner’s wardrobe, the song describes Saget as the “illest motherf**ker in a cardigan sweater.”
From his family friendly material seen onAmerica’s Funniest Home VideosandFull Houseto the more adult-oriented comedy he’d show on stage, Saget brought laughter to millions of people for decades. With the “Bakin” video, he was able to do so one last time. The legendary comedian will forever be missed, but his memory lives on through all of the comedy he’s left behind. Rest in peace.
