While the pair rehearsed for a wild lap dance scene for the film, the routine went wrong, and Salma Hayek almost hit her head.
Magic Mike’s Last Danceis set to premiere in theaters this Feb. 11, and while promoting the film, Salma Hayek shared some memorable events from the show. TheMagic Mikefranchise is known for its wild dance routines, and sure enough, when Salma Hayek joined the film, she had to do one too.
The said lap dance stunt is a routine where the actress is flipped upside down, and Channing Tatum has to hold her pants. The rehearsal went south real quick due to the actress' hesitations thinking she might have a wardrobe malfunction. Rather than being concerned about her safety, the actress was thinking about covering her body.

Salma Hayek On the Crazy Lap Dance That Nearly Killed Her
Salma Hayek toldJimmy Kimmel, “You know, there’s one part that’s not in [the film] where I’m upside down and my legs had to be somewhere. But upside down, one loses sense of direction, and I didn’t do what I was supposed to do, so in the rehearsal, I went like, head down, almost hit my head.”
The actress continued, “[Channing] held on to my pants, but I was really concerned because my pants were going away, and I couldn’t remember if I had underwear or not in this moment. So, instead of putting my hands to protect my head, I just held onto the pants. He’s like, ‘Put your hands up,’ and I’m like, ‘No, no, no, no."
Thankfully, she wasn’t hurt or injured, and theMagic Mike Last Dancecrew went to her to check if she was okay. The actress ended the story and said, “Everybody came in and kind of took me away from him, and he said, ‘What’s wrong with you?’ I said, ‘What’s wrong with me? You nearly killed me!'”
