More theatrical screenings have been announced forClerks III.Hosted by Fathom Events, Lionsgate had previously announced thatClerks IIIwould show in theaters for two days only, which would be Sept. 13 and Sept. 15. Because of the high demand for more screenings, four more theatrical dates have been added: Sept. 14, 16, 17, and 18. In other words, the film will screen in theaters from Sept. 13-18.

“I assure you, we’re open! Many thanks to Lionsgate and Fathom for expanding our limited run ofClerks IIIto include a weekend,“ director Kevin Smith said of the news. “And even bigger thanks to the fans who already bought tickets to our Fathom screenings! All your pre-sales made this expansion happen!”

All showings will begin at 7:00 p.m. local time on these dates. The screenings will also include an exclusive look behind the scenes with Smith and the other cast and crew members involved. It will be playing in more than 700 theaters nationwide and tickets can be purchased atFathomEvents.com, or at participating theater box offices.

Clerks III Brings Kevin Smith’s Career Full Circle

This movie is special for Kevin Smith as the originalClerkswas the film that got him started as a filmmaker. He gets to go back to where he started withClerks III, utilizing a meta storyline with the movie’s clerks filming their own film abouttheir lives in the Quick Stop, just as Smith himself had done in the 1990s.
