Evelyn is an overburdened woman under immense pressure due to her family’s failing laundromat, her failing marriage to her husband Waymond, and her aging father, who criticizes and nags her over just about every decision she makes. On top of everything else in her chaotic life, Evelyn becomes increasingly at odds with her daughter Joy. Soon, Evelyn’s life is thrown into a tailspin when she discovers that she is one Evelyn in a huge alternate universe of Evelyn’s and that she is the only one who can save the world.
