In court today, actorEzra Millerpled not guilty to two counts of felony burglary charges. Should the actor, who identifies as non-binary, be found guilty of these charges, they face 26 years in prison and over $2,000 in fines.
Miller appeared remotely in front of Vermont’s Green Mountain State’s Superior Court criminal division in front of Superior Court Judge Kerry A. McDonald-Cady. Miller was ordered to stay away from neighbor Isaac Winokur’s home and was told not to have any contact with Aiden Early, a Vermont resident. Miller’s attorney agreed to those conditions, with Miller telling the Judge that they understood.
This spring, Miller entered Winokur’s property and stole three bottles of alcohol. Miller claimed that they entered the home, which was unoccupied at the time, to find ingredients needed for a recipe. Further hearings regarding this matter will ensue, but no further dates were given.

Does Miller Have a Future in Hollywood?
Miller’s list of recent issues also includes a video, now viral, of Miller apparently choking a woman at a Reykjavik bar and two arrests in Hawaii over the last 12 months on charges of disorderly conduct and harassment. This June, the parents of Environmental Activist Tokata Iron Eyes, who is now 18 years old, filed for a protection order against Miller, accusing the actor of grooming their daughter beginning when she was just 12, and providing her with drugs.
In a recentstatement to Variety, Miller addressed his struggles, saying:
“Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment, I want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior. I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe and productive stage in my life.”
While the results of Miller’s treatment remain to be seen, their antics have made fans of the DCEU question whether or not the anticipatedThe Flashfilm will make its way to the big screen. The film was initially announced in 2014, but has faced several setbacks, including the Covid-19 pandemic. The film is scheduled for release on July 29, 2025, and Miller has beenfilming reshootson the Warner Bros. studio lot.
Most recently, the actor appeared inDalílandas a young Salvador Dalí. The film, a biopic of the late artist, primarily follows him through his older years, when he is portrayed by Ben Kingsley. The film’s director Mary Harron made headlines aftercalling Miller “one of the greatest actors"she had ever worked with. Regarding any troubling on-set behavior,Harron told Vanity Fair:
“They turned in a completely realized performance. They were very professional and nice to everybody. There was no trouble or a sign of trouble on set. So it was very upsetting and terrible to read what happened later. Reading this stuff was very sad—very sad for everybody involved. Hopefully they are getting help for what sounds like a very, very serious break.”
