With just 17 days left untilSeason 6ofGame of Thronesdebuts, the veil of secrecy swirling around the show is starting to lift.Entertainment Weeklyreports that HBO has finally released the title for theSeason 6 premiere,“The Red Woman”, along with a brief description for the episode, which once again confirms that Jon Snow (Kit Harington) is in fact dead. Take a look at the brief plot description for"The Red Woman"below.

“Jon Snowis dead. Daenerys meets a strong man.Cerseisees her daughter again.”

Of course, this brief description makes no mention of"The Red Woman"herself, Melissandre (Carice van Houten). We last saw Melissandre in theSeason 5finale, returning to Castle Black after both Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane) and Jon Snow had been killed. We also saw her briefly in thetrailerfor this new season, telling Davos Seaworth (Liam Cunningham) that the “great victory” she saw in the fire was all a lie. HBO has also released a synopsis for the entire season, which you can check out below.

“Following the shocking developments at the conclusion of season five, including Jon Snow’s bloody fate at the hands ofCastle Blackmutineers, Daenerys' near-demise at the fighting pits of Meereen, and Cersei’s public humiliation in the streets of King’s Landing, survivors from all parts of Westeros and Essos regroup to press forward, inexorably, towards their uncertain individual fates. Familiar faces will forge new alliances to bolster their strategic chances at survival, while new characters will emerge to challenge the balance of power in the east, west, north and south.”

Entertainment Weeklyalso spoke withLiam Cunningham, who was featured quite prominently in a few different scenes in the previously-mentioned trailer, which ends in cryptic fashion with Davos drawing his sword in a room full of Night’s Watch brothers. The actor revealed that, while Davos is not a natural leader, he may be stepping up in the wake of Stannis' death. Here’s what the actor had to say below.

“The Twittersphere went mad last year. There were also a couple complaints too - like, ‘Why did you f-king leave [Shireen]?’ There’s now a big expectation about him finding out. I think Davos absolutely needs to find out what happened. He’s not a born leader of men, but a go-to guy if there’s confusion or something sticking in your mind that can’t be sorted. He’s a very good man to get an opinion from, and he won’t B.S. you. As he says to Stannis, he will ‘tell the hard truths.’ He’s one of the few in the show who are not self-serving and finding themselves in trouble because of their ambitions.”

Now that both Jon Snow and Davos' leader Stannis are dead, many fans are wondering how Davos will move on from these deaths. Earlier this week, actressMaisie Williams(Arya Stark) teased that this season will help set up the “final story lines,” although it still hasn’t been confirmed how long the series will run for. There have been rumors that HBO is considered a two-season renewal which will bring the show throughSeason 8. Here’s whatLiam Cunninghamhad to say about the dynamic ofSeason 6.

“This season’s cool because it resets the chess board and people get partnered with new people. Last year it was ‘worlds colliding.’ This year, it’s almost like you’re in a different drama series. There are new plans - and they’re enormous plans. There are new loyalties. There are new tensions. There are tensions between people where there were not tensions before. The words on the page are as delicious as what we’ve had in the past. And it’s culminating in some of the most remarkable television that’s ever been made. It’s astonishing.”
