Game of Thronesis set to introduce almost 30new charactersover the course ofSeason 6when it debuts this spring. That certainly sounds like a lot of new faces. But that doesn’t mean we won’t see somereturning favorites.Isaac Hempstead-Wrighthas already confirmed that hisBran Stark, who sat outGame of Thrones Season 5, will be returning. Now, another actor has confirmed his own imminent return. Thing is, he doesn’t want to tell us if it’s in the upcomingGame of Thrones Season 6.

If asked which House of Westeros is most hated, a majority of the fans will automatically say House Frey. Sure, some fans have turned a blind eye towards Houses Lannister, Greyjoy, or Tyrell. But it’s the rare book reader or show watcher who will admit to loving the dirty deeds thrust fourth by Frey. And most generally hate head of House Frey and Lord of the Crossing, Walder Frey.

Game Of Thrones

Walder Frey is famous for being the main suspect in carrying out the awful events of the Red Wedding. He is a very incongruous, lascivious old man. And he is played with perfection byDavid Bradley. The character hasn’t been seen on screen since theSeason 3episodeThe Rains of Castamere. And in terms of the Ice and Fire novels, he hasn’t been seen since the Red Wedding. Many are eagerly waiting to see this loathsome creature get his comeuppance. That may happen soon, as David Bradley confirms his return to Game of Thrones. Though it doesn’t sound like he can tell us exactly when he will arrive back in Westeros. This is what he had to say to Zap2it about coming back.

“He will be coming back, but I can’t say when. I can’t really say because things are in a delicate situation. I do look forward to it, because I do love playing someone so irredeemable. I’m afraid he makes me laugh because he’s so appalling that there’s a kind of dark humor in there somewhere.”

So far, David Bradley’s Walder Frey has appeared in only three episodes. Despite that, he has left an indelible impression on the audience. While most have been vocal about their hatred for Joffrey and Ramsey, there’s no denying that a great big majority of fans want to see Frey dead. Most speculate that authorGeorge R.R. Martinhas devised a fitting punishment. But will it arrive in the book, or be seen on screen first? That is the real question.
