Paramount released a tinysneak peekat new footage from the highly-anticipatedGhost in the Shell, which revealed that the full trailer will debut Sunday, November 13. Today we have a behind-the-scenes video which offers a glimpse at starScarlett Johanssonon the set. The actress is seen filming a gunfight scene that will take a whopping four days to shoot.

The actress also joked how her young daughter Rose doesn’t like her new look to play Major, although she does think this role is important for her daughter. Back in September, Paramount released a number ofcryptic teasersforGhost in the Shell, which aired during USA Network’s hacker dramaMr. Robotand featured a new look atScarlett Johanssonas Major. The hacker connection is no accident, sinceGhost in the Shellfollows the Major (Scarlett Johansson), a special ops, one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid, who leads the elite task force Section 9. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, Section 9 is faced with an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotic’s advancements in cyber technology.

This adaptation of the Japanese manga created byMasamune Shirrowhas also come under fire as the latest example of Hollywoodwhitewashing, withScarlett Johanssonplaying a character that is an Asian female in the source material. ProducerSteven Paulrevealed in July that he thinks fans will be pleased withScarlett Johansson’s performance inGhost in the Shell, and that her character is not Major Kusangi from the manga, but a character simply known as The Major.
