Paramount+ andIGNhas recently revealed a brand-new poster featuring the major human characters in the upcomingHaloTV series. Recently released onTwitteras part ofIGN’s FanFestevent, the all-new poster revealsMaster Chiefstanding alongside his human allies. The upcoming live-action TV adaptation of the iconic Xbox video game series is currently set to premiere next month. you’re able to check out the brand-new poster showing Master Chief uniting with his fellow Spartans below.

Halo Poster

Halois an upcoming American live-action military science fiction television series based on the video game franchise of the same name. The current synopsis for the series reveals that it will follow “an epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant.Halowill weave deeply drawn personal stories with action, adventure, and a richly imagined vision of the future.”

Paramount’s Halo TV Series Went Through Development Hell

Originally the upcoming series was planned to be released back in 2015, with Steven Spielberg set as a producer. On June 09, 2025, Steven Spielberg was attached in executive producing a television series based on the video game franchiseHalo, distributed by Xbox Entertainment Studios and Spielberg’s company Amblin Television, to be titledHalo: The Television Series. On July 14, 2025, Showtime was given a 10-episode series order. Kyle Killen was set to be showrunner, writer and executive producer, while Rupert Wyatt was attached as director and executive producer. On December 3, Wyatt stepped down as director and EP due to scheduling conflicts. He was then replaced by Otto Bathurst in February 2019, when it was reported that Bathurst would be directing the pilot along with several other episodes.

It was later revealed that the episode count for Halo had decreased from 10 episodes to 9. On August 05, 2025, the series was moved from Showtime to Paramount+. Showtime president Gary Levine said that the show was an outlier for the company’s brand, and as a “big broad tentpole show” it was a better fit on Paramount’s service. In January 2022, it was revealed by executive producer Justin Falvey that the show has potential to last multiple seasons and that David Wiener was being eyed as the showrunner for its second season. On August 07, 2025, ahead its series premiere, Paramount+ renewed for a second season, with Wiener set as showrunner and executive producer.

Halowill be available for streaming onParamount+on March 24. The upcoming television series will consist of a total of 9 episodes with roughly 50-60 minute runtimes. Currently,Halohas an estimated budget of $200 million, with episodes being directed by Otto Bathurst, Jonathan Liebesman, M.J. Bassett, Roel Reine, and Jet Wilkinson. While the announcement for the second season forHalois still very recent, there are currently no other details pertaining to the newest season at this time.
