A new TV spot forSolo: A Star Wars Storyhas just been released and it features some intriguing new footage, including young Han Solo meeting Chewie for the first time. The new spot is even more action packed than the full-length trailer that was released last week, which will more than likely make some hardcoreStar Warsfans very excited. Lucasfilm held on to the footage for as long as they possibly could before releasing a teaser trailer at the beginning of the year. Fan reception has been mixed, but that’s how it goes whenever anything with theStar Warsname comes out.

The newSoloTV spot shows off some more of the intense game of Sabacc, with Donald Glover’s Lando letting out a whistle and Alden Ehrenreich’s Han showing his cards to Chewie. We all know how the game goes, but it appears that it didn’t start in Han’s favor. Elsewhere, we’re treated to some alternate dialogue from Woody Harrelson’s Tobias Becket when he invites Han into the game that will forever change his life.

The newest footage ofSoloshows off more of Alden Ehrenreich than we’ve seen in past trailers and teasers.Star Warsfans have been very skeptical of the young actor stepping into Harrison Ford’s shoes to play the iconic character. But the new footage shows off some mannerisms that seem very Han Solo and should go a long way in helping fans think of Ehrenreich playing Solo. Reports of an acting coach on the set ofSolohave scared off some fans, but it seems that a coach was probably brought in to help nail the character, as opposed to the art of acting.

Solo: A Star Wars Storyis only a little over a month from hitting theaters, coming out nearly six months after the release ofThe Last Jedi. It’s an exciting time to be aStar Warsfan, but as with most things, the fan base is divided. While many are just excited for more of the franchise, others are highly critical of every little decision that Lucasfilm makes. That being said, Ron Howard and Lucasfilm really seem like they have been paying attention to theStar Warsfans and have made something with a lot of depth and Easter Eggs for the hardcore fan.

Solohits theaters on May 25th, but will be screened on May 15th at the Cannes Film Festival. Any fans who are looking to go into the movie completely blind will have to heavily consider what sites to visit after that time. But, there have been screenings for Marvel’sInfinity War, showcasing the first 30 minutes of the movie and viewers have yet to leak anything, so hopefullyStar Warsfans follow suit.
