Netflix has released a new teaser for the second season ofHuman Resources, divulging the return date for the adult animated series. Previously, it was announced that the show would be concluding with its upcoming second season, now revealed to be premiered on the streaming platform on August 10, 2025. Ahead of the new season’s arrival, you may get an early look by checking out the new teaser trailer below.
The teaser features the show’s characters discussing what they might be seeing in the new season. After noting how Hugh Jackman “needs to come back” after having a very memorable guest appearance in season 1, his return was seemingly confirmed with other guest stars' names divulged. Florence Pugh and Miley Cyrus in particular seem to have the characters excited about the guest spots in the final season.

Along with Pugh and Cyrus, other guest stars set for season 2 include Eugene Levy, Sam Richardson, Niecy Nash-Betts, Jason Mantzoukas, and Isabella Rosselini. Returning guest stars include Jackman, Pamela Adlon, Rosie Perez, Henry Winkler, Thandiwe Newton, Jemaine Clement, Maria Bamford, Bobby Cannavale, and Cole Escola. Series regulars for the show are Nick Kroll, Maya Rudolph, Aidy Bryant, Randall Park, Keke Palmer, Brandon Kyle Goodman, and David Thewlis.

Human Resources Will End With a 2-Season Run
Human Resourceswas created by executive producers Kelly Galuska, Andrew Goldberg, Mark Levin, Jennifer Flackett, and Nick Kroll. Promoted as coming from the minds behindBig Mouth, another adult animated series that’s send to end with its upcoming eighth season on Netflix,Human Resourcesis a spinoff that premiered its first season in March of Last year. It garnered a renewal the following month, though it was also revealed at that time that season 2 would be the last for the show. It might be a short run, but getting a second season is still better than being limited to one, as has happened with far too many other Netflix shows.
