Living next door to an action-movie star sounds glamorous until a helicopter drops onto the paddock behind your garden wall. Residents living near the home of British hard-nut action heroJason Stathamhave been made to feel they were in the middle of one of his blockbuster movies recently, and it seems they have had enough of it.

According to a report inThe Sun– naturally - Statham and his glamorous partner, model, designer, and formerTransformersstar, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, have been taking an unusual mode of transport recently – a twin-engine helicopter. You know, the kind of thing that is usually seen airlifting bad guys off skyscrapers and then being blown up by the hero in every action movie worth its salt. However, when one lands in the middle of a sports field next to a riding school, disturbs the peace and frightens the horses, then it is just not on, old chap.

Every Jason Statham Movie Releasing After ‘A Working Man’

Find out what action movies Jason Statham will star in after the massive 2025 hit ‘A Working Man.’

The paper reports that the thudding of rotors has been causing plenty of issues in the area, from startling livestock, setting off car alarms, and even rattling picture frames on the wall. It probably rattles granny’s teeth at the same time, but it sounds like she isn’t picking up good vibrations. According to one resident:

Jason Statham in Parker.

“It’s been quite frequent. It flies low over our houses and it’s very loud. It’s not something we appreciate. I won’t be happy if it becomes a regular occurrence. There’s a reason we chose to live far out from Heathrow or City airports. It’s not great, especially with people working from home and elderly people living here.”

Jason Statham Is a Guaranteed Winner for Action Movie Lovers

While it is clear that those within the immediate area are not pleased with Statham’s choice of transport, asone of the most reliable action stars working in the business, it does fit the persona he has built on-screen very well indeed.

Whether it is beating up London gangsters, beating up Russian gangsters, or beating up corrupt military officers…who are working for soon-to-be-beat-up gangsters, Statham has carved himself a niche in cinema that has been paying off handsomely. Last year,The Beekeeperbecame one of his best films, both a financial and critical success, and he is currently delivering again with hisnew collaboration with both director David Ayer and Expendables star Sylvester Stallone, inA Working Man.

Although he needs to perhaps consider leaving the attention-grabbing entrances to his screen roles and out of London’s limited field-space, there is very little to suggest that his fans are going to think any less of him in the long run. After all, an Englishman’s chopper is to be shared with the world…or something like that.

Currently,A Working Manis playing in cinemas and available to stream, whileThe Beekeeper, The Mechanic, Spy, and many other past offerings from The Stath are available to stream across various platforms at your leisure. They probably even show them on helicopter flights.
