With Marvel Studios exploring The Multiverse in their movies and TV shows, fans have been anticipating the return of some of their favorite characters from Marvel TV shows, particularly those from the Netflix properties. Recently, Marvel confirmed that Charlie Cox’s Daredevil would be returning in his own show,Daredevil: Born Again, which has sparked speculation about the return of other characters fromThe Defenders. Among these characters is Jessica Jones, played byKrysten Ritterin the Netflix series. Although there has been no official confirmation about the return of these characters, Ritter expressed her willingness to return to the role of Jessica Jones if approached by Marvel Studios.
During an interview onInside of You with Michael Rosenbaum, Ritter stated that she has no knowledge of any plans by Marvel Studios for the return ofJessica Jones. However, she acknowledged that she would be excited to return to the role if given the opportunity, given the love that fans have shown for the character. Ritter also noted that Marvel Studios is known for being secretive about their plans, so there is no way to know for sure ifJessica Joneswill make a return to the MCU.
“I have no idea; I hope so! I think that people love Jessica; I know because I live it. Marvel is so secretive - I am just putting that out there that, of course, I would be there in a second. I would have my boots and jacket ready to rock.”
