Johnny Deppmade some furry friends after a recent visit toFolly Wildlife Rescuein Tunbridge Wells, Kent. The rescue center revealed with posts on social media an image of Depp cuddling with a Badger during his visit which was made amid the actor performing on stage with Jeff Beck in the UK. As they also explain, Depp spent the afternoon at the center to learn about the work they do with wildlife while spending some time with the animals, including a badger cub named after a music legend.
“Guess who’s been to see us at Folly Wildlife Rescue - no, you’re not seeing things- that’s the real Johnny Depp!” the center posted on Instagram. “As you probably know, Johnny has been appearing with our Patron Jeff Beck on his UK tour and in a recent break, Jeff’s wife Sandra brought him up to visit us and see for himself the work we do with wildlife. And what an incredible afternoon it was for our staff and volunteers, as he toured the hospital’s care and vet units. Johnny was incredibly complimentary and in his own words ‘blown away’ by what he saw.”
The post added, “To top the visit off, we even allowed him the rare privilege of briefly holding Freddie (as in Mercury!) one of the many orphaned badger cubs we’re currently hand rearing - and I think it’s fair to say he was bowled over by the whole experience!”

Johnny Depp Has Been Rocking Out
Johnny Depp has been keeping busy with his music career in recent days with his multiple appearances on Jeff Beck’s tour. With each stop, the two performed multiple songs together, including a live rendition of their previous collaboration “Isolation.” They also have just revealed that they evenrecorded a new album together, and fans won’t have to wait too long to listen to it as it will be available in July.
“I’m gonna take this opportunity and tell you I met this guy five years ago, and we’ve never stopped laughing since,” Beck told the crowd. “We actually made an album. I don’t know how it happened. It will be out in July.”
This news follows Depp recently coming out favorably in his defamation lawsuit against ex-wife Amber Heard. Depp contended that Heard had defamed him by going public with false allegations of domestic abuse. The jury felt that Depp had proven Heard guilty on all three counts of defamation. The actor released a statement after the verdict in which had declared that he had his life given back to him by the jury.
“Six years ago, my life, the life of my children, the lives of those closest to me, and also, the lives of the people who for many, many years have supported and believed in me were forever changed,” Depp’s statement read. “And six years later, the jury gave me my life back. I am truly humbled. From the very beginning, the goal of bringing this case was to reveal the truth, regardless of the outcome. Speaking the truth was something that I owed to my children and to all those who have remained steadfast in their support of me. I feel at peace knowing I have finally accomplished that.”
