WhenJurassic Worldhits theaters this weekend, fans will be taken back to Isla Nublar, the original location where the firstJurassic Parkwas set, which is now home to a massive dinosaur theme park. Today we have a new featurette that showcases one of the important behind-the-scenes players, paleontologistJack Horner, who has worked as a consultant on all fourJurassic Parkmovies. DirectorColin Trevorrowrevealed he wanted to bring as many people as he could who worked onJurassic Park, includingJack Horner, while producerFrank Marshallsays that his work helps add authenticity to the dinosaurs and the park as a whole.

Jack Horneralso helped design the brand new dinosaur, the Indominus Rex, the first dinosaur to ever be created in a lab through genetic modifications, and he also gives us a breakdown of the other dinosaurs fans will see inJurassic World. The sequel is set twenty-two years after the events ofJurassic Park, where Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. After 10 years of operation and visitor rates declining, in order to fulfill a corporate mandate, a new attraction is created to re-spark visitor’s interest, which backfires horribly.
