Little Bitesis anupcoming horror moviethat boasts quite the cast of familiar faces. The film was directed by filmmaker and musician Spider One and stars Krys Fox and Bonnie Aarons, who have collaborated before on different projects. The three of them worked on Bloody FM’s Bleeders DIEgest, a fiction podcast series that you canlisten to now on Spotify. Here’s a summary of the movie’s plot, courtesy ofBloody Disgusting:
“Little Bitesfollows Mindy (Fox), a young widow and mother, who desperately tries to protect her daughter Alice (Elizabeth Caro) from the grips of a fiendish, flesh eating monster named Agyar (Jon Sklaroff). Mindy has been secretly sacrificing her own life by allowing the creature to slowly feast on her body as she keeps Alice hidden away at her grandmother’s (Aarons).”

Other members of the cast consist of Heather Langenkamp, Barbara Crampton, Lyndsi LaRose, Mark Kelly, Christopher Alvarenga, Angel Melanson, and Elle Riot Fox. James A. Janisse and Chelsea Rebecca ofDead Meat famewill also be in the cast. As will Chaz Bone, who’s also an executive producer of Little Bites alongside his mother Cher.
“I really responded to the way my character, Ellenor, thrusts Spider’s terrifying story in a new direction. I love that I get to deliver a kind of wisdom that older women often carry with them and are mysteriously duty bound to pass along. Krsy and Spider are an amazing team to work for!” Lankenkamp said.

The Bigger The Challenge, The Higher The Reward
According to Spider, whose previous film credits includeAllegoriaandBury the Bride, the making ofLittle Biteswas an intense shoot where “everyday was filled with terror and tears.” However, it was also“by far the most rewarding creative experience of [his] life.” The sentient ofLittle Bitesbeing a difficult movie to make, but nonetheless rewarding was echoed by Fox as well.
“I literally felt like I was trapped in this dark place with the world against me when I took on the role of Mindy. It was so heavy and scary, it felt like my body wasn’t my own. I had such natural and deep reactions to the other characters that come in and out of her reality. The actors and actresses I got to work with were incredible.”

In a statement, Fox said that she’s never had a role that affected her emotionally before. “I really fell into the character of Mindy and the darkness she was fighting.” Fox also said that looking back in hindsight, she’ll never forget the talent of the actors that worked alongside her or the love the cast and crew had for one another.
“Also, be prepared because I look like hell, and the screaming, crying, and snot’s all real. Mindy was by far the most relatable and sad character I’ve portrayed, yet this was the most fun I’ve ever had shooting a film. You will definitely be seeing the extreme gore and our monster Agyar in your nightmares for years to come.”
