The newly woke Logan Paul didn’t last very long. The YouTube star started the year off with some controversy after he posted a video of himself and a friend laughing at a dead body inJapan’s Suicide Forest. He quickly removed the video, but the damage had already been done and YouTube removed him from their top-tier advertising. Paul then decided to change his tune to help people and set out on a suicide awareness campaign with serious videos, but now YouTube has completely pulled advertising from his channel after he posted videos about Tide Pods and using a Taser on dead rats.
YouTube announced Friday that they were temporarily suspending advertising on Logan Paul’s channel. It’s been reported that even without his top tier advertising, Paul was pulling over a million dollars a month from his YouTube channel. YouTube says that they suspended the advertising becauseLogan Paul’s behaviorcould be “damaging to the broader creator community.” Paul has yet to make a statement in regard to the suspension and it’s not clear how long the suspension will be for.
“I know for a fact everything I do from this point on will get criticism, it will getbacklash, because I’m a very polarizing dude. You either love me, or you hate me. So internet, please, use me, bro. Crucify me, vilify me, and I can promise you one thing, guys. I’m not going anywhere. I’m going to be here for a minute.”
It’s only a matter of time before Logan Paul is back to make a tearful apology now that hisincome streamhas been cut off. He’ll probably make a PETA video next, telling his followers that he was “dumb” to Taser a dead rat.
Logan Paul returned to his daily vlogging after taking an extended break from the suicide video and taking some time off to get woke. He then returned to streaming with a fake beard, pretending to be Jesus resurrecting, erasing the insincere apology that he made a few weeks earlier. He tweeted about eating Tide Pods and then went around taking a Taser gun to dead rats, which caught the attention of PETA. Paul also took fish out of a pond to give themCPR.
Logan Paul is probably right. All of the negative attention will probably make him more popular. But it will definitely hurt to lose a few million dollars for acting like an idiot.
