Amid the shocking news of a sequel, one ofBad BoysstarMartin Lawrence’s most beloved action outings is all set to stream for free. Released back in 1999, the action-comedyBlue Streaksees Lawrence leading as a master thief who finds himself double-crossed, stashing the diamond he’s just stolen on a construction site, and sent to prison. When he’s released, he discovers that what was once a construction site is now a police station…and the diamond is buried somewhere inside.

You may not know this, butBlue Streakwas, in fact, inspired by a British comedy from 1965 titledThe Big Job. Taking its cues from that ‘60s caper, the action-comedy is directed by Les Mayfield and stars Martin Lawrence alongside Luke Wilson, Dave Chappelle, Peter Greene, Nicole Ari Parker, and William Forsythe. The first outing caused something of a divide between critics with audiences, with the movie scoring just 35% from the former and 64% from the latter. Martin Lawrence will surely be hoping to renew his own action franchise alongsideBad Boys, with Lawrence reuniting with Will Smith for a fourth outing earlier this year inBad Boys: Ride or Die. The sequel was a big hit with audiences, grossing $404 million worldwide and quickly leading to discussions of afifth outing for the titularBad Boys.
