Way back in March,Luke CagestarMike Coltermade the surprising announcement that his highly-anticipated show will debut on September 30. Just a week later, thefirst trailerdebuted, but we haven’t seen any new footage since then. Today we have word that the next trailer will most likely debut at San Diego Comic-Con, with a number of the stars set to appear.

While the news hasn’t been confirmed by Marvel quite yet,Deadlinereports that starsMike Colter(Luke Cage),Alfre Woodard(Mariah Dillard) andTheo Rossi(Shades) will be joined by executive producer/showrunnerCheo Hodari Coker. The panelists will reveal new footage during the panel, but this report claims thatJessica JonesstarKrysten Ritterwill not be in attendance. However, given how many surprise appearances happen during most panels, don’t be surprised if some new characters are introduced before theseries premieredebuts this fall.

The supporting cast also includesRosario Dawson, reprising her role as Claire Temple, a.k.a. Night Nurse,Mahershala Alias Cottonmouth,Theo Rossias Sonny,Alfre Woodardas Black Mariah,Simone Missickas Misty Knight andSonia Bragaas Claire Temple’s mother. It’s worth noting that, in the comics, both Luke Cage and Claire Temple were romantically linked, but we don’t know if this story line will be followed in the series. Perhaps we’ll find out during the Comic Con panel next month.

It isn’t known if the other Marvel shows,Daredevil,Jessica Jonesor the upcomingIron Fistwill joinLuke Cageat SDCC.Daredevilaired its second season earlier this spring, but Netflix hasn’t issued an official Season 3 renewal quite yet.Jessica Joneshas been picked up for a second season, although we don’t know when it will premiere.Iron Fiststill doesn’t have a premiere date, but all four characters will come together to formThe Defendersin a miniseries set to air sometime next year.
