The RevenantHits The Oregon Trail
Vultureis back with another one of their Remixes, and the site just may have outdone itself this week. They took footage fromThe Revenanttrailer and digitally added a slew of different elements from the hit 1980s computer game Oregon Trail. While Hugh Glass wasn’t trying to get to Oregon, and he didn’t die of dysentery, there are a few similarities between the game and the film that make this video a fun watch. Screen Junkiesis back with another Honest Trailer, going all the way back to 2001 withMichael Bay’s Pearl Harbor. While it may seem strange to trample on a 15-year-old movie, the SJ crew reminds us before every video that these are what the fans want to see, and they find a way to tie it in toMichael Bay’s new film13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, which opens this weekend. This four-minute video pokes fun at the slapstick humor and the bizarre love triangle that unfolds, with the massive sneak attack by the Japanese merely serving as a backdrop for this action-drama.
