BuzzFeeddebuted the new trailer forLegends of the Hidden Temple: The Movie, which is infinitely less cheesy than anyone would expect.Nickelodeondid release another, definitely more cheesy trailer a couple of months back, but this new trailer is enough to give any nostalgic 90 kids goosebumps. The best part? We get to see the legendary Olmec brought to life.

Legends of the Hidden Temple: The Moviewill follow three siblings who decide to break away from their boring jungle tour. Along the way, they stumble upon a hidden temple and are forced to deal with a series of high-stakes challenges and obstacles if they hope to make it out alive. They will be guided by the advice of giant talking head Olmec, much like he guided contestants through the original show.
Thetrailernot only avoids the very cheesy tone that one would expect of a made-for-TV movie like this, but it also features a ton of familiar imagery fromLegends of the Hidden Temple. Aside from Olmec, there are also some Temple Guards, a fully assembled Shrine of the Silver Monkey and even Red Jaguar. We can safely assume we may also be seeing references to the other teams from the show, such as the Blue Barracudas and the Green Monkeys.

Legends of the Hidden Templewas a staple of Nickelodeon in the90s. The show was hosted byKirk Fogg(who will be making an appearance in the movie) and ran for 120 episodes. Even though no new episodes were made after 1995, the show ran in heavy syndication until 1998. Then the show aired on Nick GAS from 1999 to 2007 and also aired on TeeNick occasionally in the following years.
