George Lucas and crew had no idea that they were about to change the course of sci-fi forever when they were working on the first chapter in the space opera. InA New Hope, Alec Guinness plays Jedi master Obi-Wan Kenobi. He helped Luke Skywalker on his mission and ultimately sacrifices himself so that Luke, Leia, Han, and Chewie could escape. It’s an iconic scene that has been looked at under a microscope for the past 40+ years. It has even been reimagined byStar Warsfans with even better lightsaber fighting. Ewan McGregor is reprising his role of theJedi masterin theObi-Wan KenobiDisney+ series, which is set to begin production soon. The project has been in development for many years now and was originally going to be a movie.
