The CW’sCharmed rebootseries has been forced to suspend production after a positive COVID-19 test. Work was halted earlier today after a person on the set tested positive. The network is now following safety protocols and conducting contact tracing, according to sources. The series, which films in Vancouver, Canada had to shut down production last month too, due to a delay in test results for several cast and crew members. Cases have been spiking in record numbers all over North America for the past several months....

TheChild’s Play Remakehas found a couple of promising stars to add to its cast. Aubrey Plaza and Brian Tyree Henry are both in talks to star in the remake of the horror classic, which is being produced by MGM. Plaza, should her deal close, will play the mother of the child who winds up with the killer doll this time around, while Henry will portray a detective, but further details regarding his part haven’t yet been disclosed....

Chris Cornell, lead singer of Soundgarden and Audio Slave, has died at 52-years old. According to his representative in a statement toThe Associated Press, Brian Bumbery says the musician died Wednesday night in Detroit. Bumbery called the death “sudden and unexpected” and said his wife and family were shocked by it. The statement said the family would be working closely with the medical examiner to determine the cause and asked for privacy....

The search for missing actorJulian Sandsis over. Back in January, Sands had ventured to the Mt.
