Earlier this month, it was confirmed that the hit ABC drama showsScandalandHow to Get Away with Murderwill crossover in an epic “Shondaland” event, and now we have our first look. Entertainment Weekly revealed the first photo from the crossover, featuring bothScandal’s Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) andHow to Get Away With Murder’s Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) entering a conference room together. While no details about the story were given, it was revealed that this crossover will take place on Thursday, March 1, with Annalise first appearing onScandalbefore Olivia heads toHow to Get Away With Murder. Here’s what Viola Davis had to say about this crossover.

“It was black girl magic on steroids! Me and Kerry dancing to ‘Rock the Boat’? Hey, it can’t get any better.”

The producers of both shows aren’t spilling any specific details about thiscrossover event, although there is speculation that it may have something to with the class action lawsuit Annalise is working on in the state of Pennsylvania, over a number ofwrongful convictions. It doesn’t seem that just the main characters, Viola Davis and Annalise Keating, will be crossing over into the other shows, and not any supporting characters, but that has yet to be confirmed either.
