Among the many casting and plot rumors surroundingDeadpool & Wolverine, Taylor Swift’s potential casting as Dazzler is one of the biggest. Fans have been desperate for answers since the rumors began, and Director Shawn Levy is cruelly adding fuel to the fire, without giving fans an answer.
In an exclusive interview withEntertainment Tonightat CinemaCon, director Shawn Levy was directly asked about Taylor Swift’s involvement inDeadpool & Wolverine. Levy joked, “I can’t even believe that you would dare ask me a question that you know I can’t answer.” He followed this up by saying, “That is hardly confirmed nor denied in this interview.” Levy appears to be enjoying dodging questions about Taylor Swift’s casting and keeping the rumor mill running, teasing, “What can I say? I think intrigue is fun.”
Deadpool & Wolverine
A follow-up to the highly successful Deadpool and Deadpool 2 films starring Ryan Reynolds as the Merc with a Mouth. The third film will be the first in the franchise to be developed under the Marvel Studios banner following Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox.
Therumors were started after director Shawn Levywent to a football game to watch Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, with the singer in attendance.
