The Creep is back. Shudder has unveiled the brand-new poster for their upcomingCreepshowseries and it pays tribute to horror legend George A. Romero. The streaming platform will be on hand with the cast and crew of the new series at San Diego Comic-Con later this week and horror fans can’t wait to see what they have come up with. Shudder is expected to reveal the first look at the highly anticipated series at the annual event along with some other surprises.
TheCreepshowposter keeps the aesthetics of the original 1980s posters and should be a treat to any horror fan.The Creepis now in the living room instead of the movie theater with an old school remote control in his hands as he gets ready to show us what the new series is all about. An old TV is also visible, which has a framed picture of originalCreepshowdirector George A. Romero on top.Walking Deadexecutive producer Greg Nicotero is behind the Shudder series and one can tell he is making a tribute to what Romero and Stephen King started in the 1980s.

Shudder will be on hand to give out these excellentCreepshowposters at Comic-Con and they will be available while supplies last.Showrunner Greg Nicotero, author Joe Hill, and stars Adrienne Barbeau, Giancarlo Esposito, Tricia Helfer, and DJ Qualls will all be in attendance at the panel, which begins at 5:45 PM on Friday. The event is set to take place at Room 6BCF and will be moderated by The Los Angeles Times' reporter Jen Yamato.
Shudder’sCreepshowTV series will consist of twelve stories told in six episodes. In addition to showing off footage from the show atComic-Con, it is also believed we will finally get a firm release date too. We’ve been getting plenty of updates about the show in terms of episodes, directors, and cast, but what we all really want to know is when Greg Nicotero and Shudder are going to deliver the goods. Thankfully, we should find out on Friday evening after the panel finishes up. Halloween seems like the perfect time to release the show, but that’s purely speculation at this point.
In addition to the awesome newCreepshowposter,Fright Ragshas announced that they have an exclusive San Diego Comic-Con shirt on the way. The shirt will go up for pre-order on Thursday, July 18th, at 10 AM Eastern and will be on sale throughout the weekend. After all of the pre-orders have been accounted for, any extras left over will be put up for sale.
