Less than one day after theofficial titlewas announced forSpider-Man: Homecomingat CinemaCon yesterday, another report has surfaced regarding a new cast member.Varietyreports thatMichael Keatonin in early talks to portray the villain in this superhero adventure. Unfortunately, this report doesn’t reveal the identity of this villainous character.

Yesterday, another report claimed that theMarvel ComicscharacterVulturewill be the mainvillain. While Sony and Marvel haven’t confirmed this character’s presence in the movie, that same report revealed that the title was in factSpider-Man: Homecoming, hours before it was announced on the CinemaCon stage. While the studio did confirm the title during last night’s panel, there was no mention of Vulture as the villain.

TheCinemaConpresentation also included a clip fromCaptain America: Civil War, which showed Peter Parker (Tom Holland) coming home to find Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) in his living room with Aunt May (Marisa Tomei). The scene featured Tony telling Peter about a “grant” he applied for, which Tony tells him is “well-funded.” We’re not sure exactly when inCaptain America: Civil Warthis scene takes place, but we’ll find out soon enough when the movie hits theaters on May 6.

Spider-Man: Homecomingwill forgo the “origin story” told in previous Spidey movies, with Peter Parker already established as the web-slinger. There have been rumors thatSpider-Man: Homecomingwill kick off a trilogy set during Peter’s high school years, as he tries to balance school work with his crime fighting activities in the Big Apple.Zendaya Colemanhas also joined the cast as an unspecified lead character.
