A rather interesting new item for sale has arrived at Spirit Halloween for fans ofKiller Klowns from Outer Space. As fans who’ve seen the bizarre horror film will recall, the film features homicidal clown-like visitors from another world who seem determined to take out the entire population of a small American town. They have special weaponry that transforms their human victims into cotton candy cocoons that can be hung up in their spacecraft, which fittingly resembles a circus tent. At one point, a survivor rips a piece of cotton candy from a cocoon unsure of what’s inside, only to reveal the bloody face of one of his neighbors.

Now, the time has come for fans to pick up their own lifesize cotton candy cocoon as seen inKiller Klowns from Outer Space. Introduced by Spirit Halloween, the 6-foot prop includes the bloody face on the front along with a hook on top for hanging. A video ad highlighting the prop has also been released by the company to provide a closer look at the cocoon. you may view that video below.

With a red face being consumed by the bright pink cotton candy exterior, this static prop will have your home looking straight out of a scene from the film. Hang it from the ceiling and you’ll have your guests always looking over their shoulders for some Killer Klowns once they see this prop on display this Halloween.”

Killer Klowns from Outer Space Maintains a Cult Following

The original film was released in 1988. Directed by Stephen Chiodo, it is written by Charles and Stephen Chiodo, with both brothers producing alongside Edward Chiodo as well. The film stars Grant Gramer, Suzanne Snyder, John Allen Nelson, Royal Dano, John Vernon, and a young Christopher Titus in his first movie role.

While the movie would garner a cult following, there would never be an official sequel made. That has not been for a lack of trying from the Chiodo brothers, who’ve put work into both a feature film sequel along with a TV series adaptation, though neither ever made their way out of development hell. The franchise is now making the move to the video game medium, as it was recently announced thatKiller Klowns from Outer Space: The Gameis coming soon. It’s intended to be released this year.
