Even after the release of two trailers, much of theStar Wars: The Force Awakensplot and characters still remain shrouded in mystery. Disney and LucasFilm have been revealing little tidbits of information over the past few months, and today we finally learn whoAndy Serkisis playing, a character known as Supreme Leader Snoke. We don’t know what this character looks like yet, but LucasFilm has released a new photo ofAndy Serkisin his motion capture outfit.
When the first trailer was released back in late November, it was revealed shortly thereafter that it wasAndy Serkis' voice providing the narration for the trailer, but we still have very little context about how what he was actually saying fits into the story. Last month, a leaked character list revealed thatAndy Serkis' character name was Uber, but that report also noted that it was likely a code name. Sadly, we don’t have any more confirmed information about Supreme Leader Snoke, but there was also a rumor floating around last year thatAndy Serkisis actually playing two characters, one who leads, “a group of unbelievably athletic and acrobatic motion capture characters,” and another role that is said to be pivotal, which intertwines withDaisy Ridley’s Rey.
