Today we have a new portrait of this character along with two international posters, both of which come courtesy of screenwriterGary Whitta, who was the first writer to take a crack at the script. With just under one month to go untilRogue Onehits theaters, it remains to be seen if more photos, posters and footage will be released.
Along with the posters and portrait, whichGary Whittaunveiled onTwitter, Making Star Wars also revealed new behind-the-scenes photos fromRogue One, which features directorGareth Edwardsand stars such asDonnie Yen,Wen JiangandWarwick Davis. TheWarwick Davisimage also gives us a first look at the creature he is playing, with an unidentified crew member holding his mask. The actor returned to theStar Warsuniverse last year playing Wollivan inStar Wars: The Force Awakens, 32 years after making his feature film debut as the Ewok Wicket inReturn of the Jedi.

For those of you waiting fornew footagefromRogue One, we reported last week that a sneak peek will air during theDisney Holiday Celebrationon ABC on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 24. It hasn’t been confirmed if this will be a clip or a new trailer that debuts during this special, but we’ll find out for sure in just 17 short days. Disney has set a December 16 release date forRogue One, which will go up against Warner Bros.‘Collateral Beauty, starringWill Smith.
