Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2has scored an interesting cameo. The sequel, which is being directed byDave Green(Earth to Echo), will feature the Los Angeles Clipper NBA team, including playersDeAndre Jordan,J.J. Redick,Matt Barnes,Austin Rivers, andSpencer Hawes. While shooting wasn’t expected to start until April,Will Arnettwas spotted at a recent Los Angeles Clippers vs. New York Knicks game shooting scenes for the sequel.
Will Arnettwas joined by recent cast addition SupermodelAlessandra Ambrosio. She will play herself, serving as a new love interest forWill Arnett’s news cameraman Vern Fenwick. It isn’t known if production has officially started, or if the crew was just taking advantage of the game for scenes needed. It also hasn’t been mentioned if any of the New York Knicks will participate, since the movie is being filmed in and around New York City. It wasn’t mentioned how the Clippers feature into the story line, but its possible that Vern has an altercation with the above mentioned team members. It doesn’t look like the Turtles themselves will be making an appearance on the court.
