But as we learn from watching this scene, it is all an illusion. We get to watch Locki’s coronation, where he is welcomed by the Warriors 3 to the throne. He is draped in red, offering his crowd a hearty hello as he receives a standing ovation. And he lifts Mjolnir in the air with all his might!
ButRene Russo’s Frigga pulls Loki back to the conscious world, where he is trapped in a glass cage. She suggests he study books rather than temp himself with a fantasy world that he’ll never be a part of. Suffice it to say, that is the last thing Loki wants to be doing.
