Earlier today, Comic-Con kicked off its Hall H madness with DreamWorks Animation and 20th Century Fox’s panel for their upcoming animatedTrollsmovie. The studios released anew trailerjust a few weeks ago, so instead of dropping yet another trailer at SDCC, they released a new clip, featuring Poppy (voiced byAnna Kendrick) starting to irritate Branch (Justin Timberlake). This scene also features a unique cover of the fitting tune “Sounds of Silence” bySimon & Garfunkel.

The clip, which comes courtesy of DreamWorks’YouTube, features Branch trying to get some sleep, when he’s constantly woken up by Poppy’s singing. When Poppy tries to explain that singing helps her relax, Branch says that he doesn’t sing and he likes silence. Apparently, Poppy thinks that’s the perfect time to break into a unique rendition ofSimon & Garfunkel’s “Sounds of Silence,” with the help of some colorful flowers, bugs and other jungle creatures. While it seems thatJustin Timberlake’s Branch may actually be moved by the song, we can see at the end of the clip that isn’t exactly the case.
