Comedy Central announced today that its hit seriesWorkaholicswill come to a close after its upcoming seventh season. The series was given atwo-season renewalfor Season 6 and Season 7 back in 2015, following another two-season renewal for Season 4 and Season 5 in 2013. Here’s what series stars and creatorsBlake Anderson,Adam DeVineandAnders Holmhad to say in a statement.

“We would like to thank Comedy Central,Doug Herzog,Kent Altermanand all of the fans for turning us from Boyz II Men. It was an incredible run but we’ve decided to leave on aHIGH note. Get it?”

Deadlinehas the news of this show coming to an end, which was one of the first shows ordered to series underKent Alterman’s regime as head of programming. The pilot was ordered after the trio’s online sketch videos for their comedy group Mail Order Comedy were discovered by a network executive. Here’s whatKent Alterman, who now serves as the president ofComedy Central, had to say in his statement.

“We got more years of stunted development than any of us could have hoped for. We salute the boys and thank them.”

Production is currently under way on the final season, which will featureNina Dobrevin her first TV gig since leaving The CW’sThe Vampire Diaries. The new episodes are expected to debut in January.
