It was also revealed earlier today that the network will air a new trailer for this highly-anticipated series during tonight’s episode ofGotham, and now the footage has been released online. Unfortunately, this video doesn’t feature this mysterious and beloved character, but hopefully we’ll get to see him very soon.

Spender, wasn’t revealed untilThe X-Files Season 6.

The upcoming event series will encompass a mixture of stand-alone episodes and those that further the original show’s seminal mythology. The season premiere, entitledMy Struggle, follows Mulder and Scully as they take on the case of a possible alien abductee.
